UNSOLVED HOMICIDE 2014 PRESCOTT ROAD
On the night of Saturday, August 16, 2014, deputies with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office responded to the 8900 block of Prescott Road relative to a shooting. Upon arrival, the victim 7-year-old, TERREZ COLEMAN (pictured), was located in the back seat of his family’s vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Coleman’s 11-year-old sister was also struck by the gunfire. Her injuries were non-life-threatening. Investigators believe that a light-colored, four-door sedan had passed the family’s vehicle in the opposite direction when the shooting occurred. It’s been 10 years and this investigation remains unsolved. Detectives, along the family of TERREZ COLEMAN are still searching for answers.

Armed Robbery Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are attempting to identify the suspects in the attached photographs.
On February 18, 2023, just after 4:00 am, these suspects entered the Kangaroo Express in the 3000 block of Millerville Road and insinuated to the victim that they were armed. They went behind the counter at the business, emptied the cash register and fled the scene before police arrived.

On February 16, 2022, just after 5PM, the Baton Rouge Police Department responded to Ancona’s Grocery in the 2700 block of North Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival they located Jacoby Queen (pictured) laying near the front entrance of the store suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives, as well as Jacoby Queen’s family, are asking for the public’s assistance with any information on this case. Who shot and killed Jacoby Queen and WHY?

Detectives with the Baker Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with an unsolved homicide from 2020.
On December 20, 2020, ORLANDO JOHNSON (pictured), was shot and killed in Baker, LA, on Weston Avenue. A juvenile female was also shot during this incident but her injuries were non life-threatening.

2014 - Quail Creek Burglaries – Update

APSO is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is responsible for a rash of vehicle burglaries that took place in the Quail Creek Subdivision in Prairieville on Tuesday, August 19.
Steven Vasquez, 33, was identified via surveillance video as the suspect after it was aired in the media.
“All seven of the vehicle burglaries that occurred somewhere between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on August 19 were all unlocked vehicles,” said Major Kevin Hanna.
Major Hanna encourages everyone to lock their vehicles and do not leave valuables in plain sight.
He is facing charges of six counts simple burglary, simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, two counts felony theft, five counts misdemeanor theft, and seven counts trespassing.

2014 - Armed Robbery of Hop-In Chevron Station

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the robbery of Hop-In Chevron Service Station, 2915 Highland Rd that occurred on August 26, 2014 around 7:52pm. The suspect entered the store, grabbed money from the cash register and fled the scene on foot.
The suspect in the attached photo and is described as a black male, 5’10”, 160-170lbs, late 40’s, dark skinned, short hair, last seen wearing a green shirt, tan pants and a green cap with yellow writing.
2014 - Dollar General Aggravated Assault

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating an aggravated assault and theft from the Dollar General, 3939 Choctaw Drive, which occurred on September 1, 2014 around 9:43pm.
A black male subject entered the business and proceeded to the merchandise shelves. An employee of the business observed the suspect placing undisclosed merchandise from the shelves into his pockets. As the employee attempted to stop the suspect from leaving, the suspect pulled a screw driver from his back pocket to keep the employee at a distance as he continued to exit the store with the undisclosed merchandise.
The suspect in the attached photograph is described as a thin build black male, 6’0”-160lbs wearing a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants with black and white shoes.
There were no reported injuries.
2014 - Lee Michaels Unidentified

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are attempting to identify the individuals in this photo who is believed to be involved in illegally purchasing items at Lee Michael’s Jewelry inside the Mall of Louisiana on August 23, 2014 around 4:00pm.
The individuals presented a counterfeit drivers license and other personal identifying information along with a credit card of a victim from Florida and purchased items in excess of $29,000.00.
